www.DrawingOnPeople.com CJay was born in the Bronx, New York. He became interested in graffiti art at a young age, and began experimenting with spray cans and airbrushes not long after. Always wanting to make a living from his art, at the age of twelve he began painting t-shirts at local flea markets, and soon after expanded his art to walls, cars, clothes.anything with a paintable surface. It was at the High School of Art & Design in NYC that I really began to fully appreciate what it meant to be an artist. Being around so many young talents and the exposure I got to the city helped me refine my skills, CJay says. After graduating he began an apprenticeship at Tattoo Seen in the Bronx which lasted two years. In 1995 he attended Fantasy Fest in Key West Florida, and, impressed with the art of body painting, began the process of changing career paths. In 1996 he moved to Miami and began body painting in nightclubs both in Miami and NYC, working on both club patrons and dancers. Word spread quickly about my painting, and painting in nightclubs turned into painting for private events, he laughs. Corporate America took notice and hired me as a marketing and promotional tool to their great successand mine! My girlfriend and I have been looking at some photos on the net from fantasy fest in Florida and saw all of these really cool body paintings. How much does something like this cost to have done? We both think it would be a lot of fun.

I’ve read in Sports illustrated that these sessions can take quite some time to do correctly. As a landscape painter I would not know what artists in your area charge for that kind of service but when portrait painters do commissions they usually charge in the neighborhood of -40 dollars per hour. That being said, you might find one at fantasy fest willing to do it for the advertising value, I don’t know your age but they would most likely not work with you if you are not over the age of 18 yrs. hope that helps !

Okay, I admit that I have been caught falling asleep while viewing my best friends vacation photos; while I knew she had a great time, the photos simply weren\’t capturing my interest.
